It looks very sharp! You can always powder coat down the road worst case scenario. But this is a nice cheap way to preview without the expense or being permanent. And if it does hold up, you're golden!

This could be a cool way of changing the Anniversary Colors of the Fatty without Changing the Colors, so to speak, and match the scheme of the Apache. Anyone have experience with taking it off? Would it come off to where the original Paint would not be affected ?
Phatboy,

Does this answer your question about if Plasti-Dip will come off or not? This is removing my two-tone full tin dip, no paint issues.

Looks good! Like others, I'll be interested to hear how the dip on the rotors holds up after use.

That looks great. Definitely interested in how well it holds up on the rotors. I did the wheels on my car with it and love the look.

Thought about using the plasti dip on saddlebag lids. Wondering how it would hold up to the occasional boot heel.

Its fairly soft for the first couple weeks while it cures. But once cured, and especially if you keep it waxed, it holds up nicely to boot scuffs. Again 4 or more coats makes a tougher surface. Its sharp items that will do the most damage. FYI, the black dip is almost a dead ringer to HD black denim.

With that in mind I may just re-dip saddlebad lids just for that reason. Hey thanks.

As an example I dipped the front and rear bumpers of my F150 two years ago. I only have a couple spots where it is pealing where rocks have hit it.

Here is my entire RK with my first dip of all black, then my two-tone dip job.

Curious if anyone has used the dip on front forks or crash bar?

OP, the wheels and rotor look good.
