Default Sputtering

Rode A LOT this weekend, and several of my buddies with all kinds of bikes complained of light missing or a "cough" at about 2800 to 3200 rpms... Anyone else in the Mid-Atlantic see this this weekend?

I am thinking that there might be cheese in the gas or tank... Anyone ever try BG Products on their bike? The gas here in metro DC area is constantly sucky, and the prob is cured in my car with a can BG 44k. I am considering adding a little bit to my next bike fill-up... Any thoughts or recommendations for a good conditioning additive?

Other thing I am thinking is that it has been REALLY DAMP around here for about three weeks. I am also wondering if there are connections I should be checking in terms of an electrical connection that might have some water or condensation causing it to be inefficient..

Thanks in advance for your thoughts or advice!
