I have 09 ultra classic, I've put 3 different type of antennas on it, And still can't get no stations..Has anyone had this problem? I have the extended warranty. But not sure if it covers the antenna cable if that's what the problem is.

 

I had tha tmodel. No issues with that.

MAybe it is the connection behind the radio and not the antenna?

Not sure if it is covered. Also may sound dumb but is the sound turned up?

I replaced the factory antenna with the Harley amplified antenna that goes behind the fairing. That would eliminate your cable, antenna, and any connections. Works great and its out of the way. About $69 I think.

 

Yea lol, I get good sound when I use Pandora on my phone.

 

My 09 FLHTCU gets great FM reception locally ( 35 miles outside of Detroit ) and I don't even have an antenna mounted. Took it off and capped the "stem" with a black rubber cap. I'd say you've got something going on.

 

I forgot to mention that I tried amplified antenna I bought on Ebay for about $ 25 that's even worse.

 

The only time I'm able to get some stations if I'm going thru the middle of orlando for about 3 to 5 miles.

 

You have the warranty, take it in.

do people still use the radio? i have no idea what kind of reception i get. there is only one radio station in my area that isn't country or religious and they play the same old 'classic' crap day in and day out.

cd/ipod/pandora/sd card (nav) not necessarily in that order
