Its extremely loud and helps get the attention of idiots who insist on texting while driving. Far better than the pathetic meep meep of the factory horn, and it’s also a beautiful show piece.

An example of how loud the Rivco horns are:
I was in town the other day and a car decided she was going to pull into my lane before we got to the stop light. She started over, I laid on the air horns and see her cell phone come flying out the drivers window and bouncing across the road. She had her window down and was obviously talking or texting. The horns scared her so bad she threw her phone. I almost dumped the bike laughing so hard. She gave me a good cussing when I went by her.

The problem with the horn is simply finding it in an emergency. Most of us are too busy trying to evade the near collision to worry about hitting the horn switch. I often find myself instead turning on my left blinker and by the time I finally find the horn button the idiot that I was trying to get the attention of is already gone on to find his/her next victim.
