New Rotors, must I change pads also?
Hey all, I just won some floating rotors on Ebay for the front of my Street Glide. My current brakes only have a little over 3000 miles on them. Should I get new brake pads as well? I know all about the LyndallRacing Z+ Pads so if I have to get new pads I'll probably go that route. I just wasn't sure if I "have" to get new pads so that they can seat to the new rotors or if my stock ones will be fine for the time being. Thanks for any input.

It's kind a funny you guy's are saying you WON a set on ebay. Did they have a special drawing or something????
I two put on a set of new rotors, that I got off of ebay but I wasn't lucky as you guy's, I had to pay for mine. I had 5000 miles on mine and I didn't change my pad's. I now have just about 17,000 miles on the pads and they are still working great.
