When I had a Road King I ditched the hideous lollipop turn signals and got the touring light bar from HD and used a Softbrake Relo bracket with a Radiantz LED plate

Two words: Belt Buckle. I just took a grinder and ground the parts off the back and used 3M double stick tape to adhere. The great thing about that buckle (other than I liked it a lot) is that the curve of the buckle was perfect for the fender.

Sad thing is they dont make that buckle any more.
