ignition switch accessory position
ive got a 2007 eg classic, picked it up used, cant figure out my ignition switch. Lock works fine as does the on position...but the accessory position is screwey. in the access position the headlight comes on (shouldnt), all the indicator lights come on(dont think they should?), the motor will not crank, and the radio doesnt turn on(should) ...any ideas, almost like a wire is crossed powering the headlight instead of radio in the access mode

If you have went back and made sure you confirmed that the switch is absolutely installed correctly, then, it could a faulty switch, these have been known to supply power to areas not supposed to be powered, when they are faulty.
It also may be that some one made the passing lamps stay on all the time and they placed power to the lights with the mod. I saw one that had the lamps powered with the accessory so when the power was cut when the high beams were on the lamps stayed on because power from the accessory was available, but this also caused the light to be on when the ignition switch was turned to accessory, even though they were supposed to be off.
If not the switch or something easy like a mod to the wiring, then you'll just have to search until you find what is powering the circuit, that is not supposed to be, may not be simple, sometimes wiring stinks. You may be able to find the problem by pulling the fairing also and looking around to see if you find any obvious changes that the previous owner made, since the radio is not powered when it should be, maybe the splice or connection (if there is one) that they made a change to, is there.
