2007 Road King Engine-Transmission Question

2007 Road King Engine-Transmission Question
I have a 2007 Road King and I purchased a Harley Davidson,103 engine, off a 2014 street glide. I also, would also like to purchase a new transmission. First question is will this engine work on my 2007 Road King without any modifications using my existing transmission? Second question, is a new, off the shelf, bolt in, transmission available in either a screamin eagle or factory replacement? I need help and have received different answers from three different dealerships. This seems like a straight forward issue but it is not based on the answers I have been given. Thank you all. I know someone so out there with the experience and knowledge to help me. Thanks again!

I hesitate to answer because I don't know anyone personally who has done it but I'll mention what I've read and how it looks on paper anyway.
The 07 engine configuration is the same as the 2014. It should bolt up to your 07 trans without a problem as long as you reuse all your 07 mounting hardware/mounts and such.
The 2014 top mount is actually at the front now attached to the front head but if you use the 07 center mount on the 2014 it should work fine.
You would also reuse the 07 intake and everything attached to it.
Probably reuse the 07 engine temp sensor and crank position sensor as well since those probably went to CanBus in 2014. Not sure.
The 07 did not have auto compression releases so its ECM won't be able to control the ACRs located in the 2014 heads.
Not a show stopper but you may have rough hot starts. Just be aware.
The 07 trans and primary are the same configuration as the 2014. Should work.
If you want a new trans for some reason you could get a take out gear set from any 07+ touring and it should bolt into your 07 trans case without a problem.
Again, I'm not "the guy" and I'm sure someone will pipe in with other issues or correct my wrongs but those are the few things I can think of off the top on my head to get this thread started anyway...
Hope that helps somehow.

First of all thanks for all the help. I feel like an idiot. I'm not understanding the ACR issue. What is the difference between a Stage 3, to upgrade from a 96 to a 103 and putting in a new 103. Also how come a Screaming Eagle Transmission is not available for 2007-2009 Touring? I'm not able to find a part number for Baker 6 Speed OD or DD without doing case modification. I would love to buy a Baker complete. It seems like there is a void in transmission options from 2007-2009 HD Touring.

RE 07+ transmissions, they have 6 speeds stock, you want to spend a few thou to go from a 6 speed to a 6 speed? There's also DD7...
I will also say that the 09-up frames are different from the 07's, I could be wrong but that difference might be a show stopper for dropping in a 103 from a '14, but I could be wrong, remarkable as that may seem.

Thanks again! I really don't want it starting hard, hot. Good point about upgrading from a 6 speed to a 6 speed. The bike has high mileage and I wanted to go from a 96 to a 103. Since I had a new 103 sitting there, I thought I would utilize it. Since I was doing everything else new, I starting looking at the transmission too. It would probably be better to put in the Stage 3 into the existing engine and call it good??? Again, I'm asking questions.

And someone correct me if I'm wrong but my 96 engine has the three point mount, if I recall starting in 08 HD went with a four point mount for the engine. So would a engine from a 2014 bolt right in without modifying the engine frame mounts ?
