Default Milwaukee Twins Synthetic

I KNOW oil and oil related topics are sacred to some. Brand loyalty and such. I'm not trying to start an oil debate!! What I am trying to find out is if anyone has used the Milwaukee Twins Synthetic oil from J&P. I've searched the forums and googled but I can find no results about it or any oil comparisons. Wondering how it compares to M1 for example. Again NOT an oil debate!! Just an opinion if you have used it or know if anyone has. Keep what YOU love in your crankcase and ride on! Thanks!

p.s. I posted here instead of the oil forum as there really is no active oil threads there. (only stickies)

You won't find anything about this oil because it's produced by another oil company and private labeled. (Like many oils) I assume they are trying to use the Milwaukee name to make you think it's some how tied in to Harley. Just search and use what ever oil suits you...even if it's Milwaukee Twin Synthetics!

I'm sure any of those oils J&P sells under the Milwaukee Twins label will be more than adequate for the intended usage.

I can't speak of that oil...but shipping oil is expensive because it is heavy..you would be better off going to the auto parts store and buying oil off of the shelf..the way I look at it is that all of the oils designed for the purpose (such as v-twin oils, of the same weight) are pretty much the same, assuming that you compare synthetic to synthetic etc....right now I am using pennsoil for v twins in my bike and it is just as good as any other oil I have put in the bikes (as far as I can tell).

I would have a hard time using this oil over a brand name that I know. You truly have no idea what you are getting with this oil.

Anyone know the oil specs. On the Harley oil and Milwaukee Twins oil?
Trying to figure out if the oils contain the same additives.
Was not able to locate the specs. on line. They have to be somewhere?

Such a big difference in price. The oil kits at JP are pretty affordable.

If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and looks like a duck...........It's another oil thread! There is a dedicated Sub-Forum in here just for oil. Use it!

Thanks for the info, I'll look for that forum.
Apparently you do not know the answer to my question.

Don't know anything about the M8 Syn oil.
My rule is go with what works well for you. Keep it changed on a not too stretched out interval, keep the oil level good, good filter every time, and ride on.
My Grandaddy liked Amilie (Not even sure it's still around). Served Him well.
My Dad never used anything but Ford Oil, served Him well.
I used Valvoline many years, then along came Mobil 1 Syn, and I went that way. Been served well.
Find what works well for you, and roll with it.
