Help Wiring a heated seat in
Hi all,
Just got my HD Sundowner Classic seat back from Allen at Mean City Cycles and need a little help wiring it in. I need to place a 3 amp fuse into a switched circuit. Bike is a 99 RKC EFI, by no means a wiring genius (or any other) but I have found a hot wire in the Data link plug in front of my battery. Can I splice into that blue wire and power my seat without effecting the usefulness of that data link? Any other suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.............goldie
BTW Seat feels great already :-)

Use the plug under the seat, don't splice into that.
Installation Requirements
If another accessory is already using the accessory circuit
connector (under the seat, see Figure 4), then a Switched
Circuit Adapter Harness (part number 70264-94A) is required.
