I've only had my lift table (K&L) for 6 months. I've been riding a Harley since 1977. I have no idea how I lived without one! I also have a J&L jack that is great, but a lift table is amazing...!
If you do your own work, and have the room, you owe it to yourself to get a quality lift...!
Thanks... I retired and a contractor friend of mine helped me build the shop. My wife has a home office and now I can get out of her hair...
The chock is a K&L MC10R deluxe wheel clamp. The place I bought the lift from gave me a good price on accessories so I picked it up. It bolts right to the table and the bike rides on and pulls off easily.
I've got a couple of Handy lifts in my workshop. I use a pitbull jack to change tires, but the lifts get used for most everything else. The side extensions are nice for longer term projects, where you've got parts and tools laid out for some time.
Yea I looked at the Harbor Freight lifts in person. Im not knocking anyone who has one as they serve their purpose for the home mechanic. But they just don't compare to a quality 1000 Lb lift by Handy, Titan, Redline ETC. I have over $25K invested in my Road Glide, last thing I want was to cheap out on a lift that's going to hold up a 800 Lb. $20K Bike. Plus I wanted side extensions for my ATV and just peace of mind while driving the bike up on the lift. That's something the Harbor Freight just doesn't offer. Like I said, not knocking anyone who bought the HF lift and I didn't intend to start a debate. Just was wondering what your bad experience was.
I do appreciate the fine qualities of the Redline with the identical plate side extensions and the air lift. I had to make my own side extensions out of 2X6s, 1/2" pipe and Ubolts which I non skided with orange and black paint and sand. I bolted on a hands free front wheel chock also from HB. I drive an 07 Electraglide with an aftermarket tour pack for over 800#, up on it though I do have to do the foot pump to raise it up, but for a $300 Harbor Freight lift I have to make do.

Reason: grammar

Where did you get those blue casters on the end of your handy?
