My first bike is mr Roadie I have demo rode a few since then. I don't think I could ride anything with out a wind shield ever.

 

I was almost ready to buy a softtail nastalgia, dealer sent me off on a ride with it and then told me to try an FLHX. After a stroll over Lake Minnatonka with a 20 mph wind, I was sold on the fairing. I ended up buying an FLHT because it has a softer ride.

 

Had new apes put on recently ( you can read my issues about this on another thread0. I took the windsheild off and went for a ride today. I hadn't planned on going as far. At speeds above 70 mph, I thought I was hanging on for dear life. Now I know what ape 'hanger' really means. My hands are tired now, can't wait until tomorrow...

 

I'm spoilt... don't leave home without it.

 

thought i would take mine off more often, more i ride with it on the less i want to remove it....ride safe

 

Not only use a shield but I use the full size on on my Ultra.
