I have always like the Road Glides, in fact my first Harley is a 2001 Road Glide. Part of the appeal for me was the fact that I see more Batwing bikes on the road than Sharknose. So I wanted to be different. I bought the Road Glide and I love it! I am not talking bad about batwing bikes, I have never even ridden one! But I love my Road Glide, In fact I like the Tour Glides from the 80's I think they are a sweet looking design!

I went into the Dealership with an open mind on both the Street Glide & the Road Glide - test road them both and bought the Street Glide as I liked the way it road better to me and I couldn't get use to the fairing being so far away as I road the Road Glide
I also agree the new Road Glides looks great but I plan to put new taller bars on the Street Glide, something that doesn't fit the stance on the Road Glide.

Is that a Harley factory production paint color? I didn't realize they were doing limited run custom paint on the non CVO models in 15.

Thanks for the compliments Colorido! HD has long sold limited custom paint sets. They are sold as an accessory. Much to my chagrin, I found out that the Arctic Flash was sold out right after the dealers show. It seems that the dealers bought them all and are installing them on unsold bikes. I consider myself lucky to have found one!!!

I have always like the looks of the roadglide. I loved my streetglide but wanted an ultra as the wife and I were doing more long trips together. I rode both and went with the roadglide ultra. Best bike I have ever owned We both have loved the looks since we bought it. I even made it fuglier by adding a madstad windshield (I need to change my sig pic). I do like the looks of the new ones. I think HD did a great job on them. Maybe HD will have a roadglide ultra (not CVO) when I'm ready in about 5 years and 98,000 miles.

Sure does. If you look closely, you'll notice that the front wheel is 1/100th of inch left of center.
