well, is it really anymore dangerous than a CB/radio/cd player/bluetooth that the EG's have?


that being said, I don't have any of these.... I test drove a Street Glide and a Road King and decided on the RK for the very reason that I knew I would be messing with the radio too much lol

I keep my VX7R in my bag.....with a ear bud.
When I want to se whats happening,, I set it on scan. pop in the ear piece. place the radio in my pocket and listen .....

YOu hear all sorts of stuff ......

Guess it would depend on how you plan to use the radio. I agree in most cases it might not be any different that using a CB, although anything that distracts you can increase the risk, but I can just see someone riding down the road and trying to work DX from their bike. Now that would be a bad idea. LOL
