Smile Brake caliper kit for 2014 FLHTK

I as thinking of ordering :Brake caliper kit – chrome: part # 42012-06A to fit my 2014 FLHTK.
Has anyone fitted this part have any comments on it; good or bad?
Is it worth the investment? - they aren't cheap...

Step Away From The Farkle...

I don't have experience with this particular kit, I have removed and replaced a caliper.

I have a feeling that if you are asking for opinions... you may be teetering on saving that 1000 dollars (parts plus he moco install, for warranty purposes or installation assurance or hell, maybe because you have the money and don't want to do the install yourself).

If it were me... I'd save myself 500 by taking 500 and making life memories! Gas, hotel, food, and momentos... a real mission... pfffffft... priceless!

Having said all that... they sure look pretty but you won't get half the cost back when you trade-in or sell.

I just had these chrome brake calipers installed this Winter, along with mirror chrome slicer wheels and matching rotors. Also added braided lines to "finish" the look. Looks absolutely FANTASTIC. Bike is still in winter storage for a few more weeks. I can post up some pics if you would like - once I get it home. It was a big investment, but this is my last Harley. I will have it for many many years..........

I got the ***** Shiny chrome version on my bike. Far less expensive and I think they look better. They grind off the Harley logo for a clean smooth look. We all know that the bike is a Harley. Two guys i ride with have these on their bike (both CVO's) so that lets you know who is willing to shell out that kind of cash on stock chrome calipers.

I simply just bought the Ness chrome caliper housings and reused my factory pistons.
