Default Infotainment unit won't turn on :(

This just happened on my 2014 Ultra Classic.

It's happened before, but after turning the bike off, getting gas, and restarting the bike, the unit came back on. I haven't had the problem again. Today, it won't turn on at all.

Any suggestions on things I can do to check it?

Unfortunately, this is starting to happen occasionally since the latest update. I've had it happen twice. So far, if I turn it off for 5-10 minutes it will reset and start-up. I've also heard that pulling the main fuse will also reset the system.

Thank you for the tip. I've never updated it, so it has the stock firmware/software that it came with from day 1. Unless they updated it when they did the recall work.

I'll try the fuse, and see if that helps.

let the warranty service take care of it.

get documentation that you are having a problem.

take it in everytime something like this happens.

2.) if you want to DIY, first check is always the radio fuse.

I'll check the fuse, otherwise, I'll take it in. I completely didn't even think of the warranty. lol.

I appreciate the help.

if the fuse is blowed...take it in.

let it be their problem if a wire is worn through or their firmware is crap.

Remove the maxi fuse for about 20 seconds and then reinstall it.

I second removing the big main fuse under the right side cover for 60 seconds and then reinstall and turn the bike on. This should remove power for everything forcing a system reboot.
