Default Looking for possible new seat up grade

Hey there guys and girls. I have a 2005 Road Glide....I have the stock seat on the bike with over 88000 miles....I'm feeling like its time for a new seat....I know a lot of you may have sent yours out to be re-padded and covered. I have not found a shop near me yet to do that. Romeo,MI....I do have feelers out there though....I'm looking for anyone that may have upgraded their seats to, and what you liked or didnt like.....I know that size matters. So I'm 5.10 about 275...30in inseam.....I know there are a lot of different seat threads available...Im hoping I will get a some fresh answers and ideas. I don't want to sit any higher or any closer than I do with my stock seat. Thanks gang...

Personally I have never liked Harley's factory seats. Have run Corbin and C&C Saddles and I love the C&C Saddles. Would highly recommend them. But like many things I am sure it comes down to personal taste and comfort.

I have had mine shaved along the front edges of the nose of saddle just so I can get my legs down the the ground more comfortably when at a stand still. I'm 5'-11 and weigh around 190 if that makes any difference.

Good Luck and safe riding!

I just made the switch to Corbin. Damn near as hard as a board at first impressions but actually was quite comfortable. The more miles I put on it the better it gets, seems to be shaping up quite nice!

Mustang... I've owned 5 bikes, I've had Mustang on 3 to include my current RK and Corbin on the other 2. I'm sold on Mustang.

Another Mustang fan, especially with the backrest. Had them on last 2 bikes and the more miles you ride the more comfortable they get but that takes quite some time. Had 70,000 miles on my Road King Mustang and comfy as could be.
