Default One baffle.....?

Just bought a new 2011 limited ( new to me) I was looking it over and noticed the left muffler ( front cylinder ) has a baffle in it and the right one has been cut out. Any reason for this? and should I do something else to it? seems to run fine, sounds ok... just curious.

are you sure its been cut out?? the original mufflers have a thru type baffle on the right and the baffle on the left is more of a blocked type.. ie., if you look in the right you can see into the pipe and on the left you can see a piece of metal blocking the exit up in there...it really doesn't block the exit, it just looks like it does, as the piece of metal forces the exhaust from that side to go through the baffles befor it exits...the idea is to make most of the exhaust fumes to come out of the right side for better power..

It may be a "thru type" now you say that. And that is normal? If so I can just leave it alone?...... Thanks

So looking at the pipes again... I believe I have (true duals)? so if I understand what your saying it does NOT apply to my setup because the two pipes are NOT connected?

You have true dual headers and stock mufflers that have been modified sounds like to me.

Why only modify one muffler?
