So after riding several hundred miles over the past couple of days, talking to my dad and cousin (both also own RKs) and doing some internet research, I've decided to change out the stock exhaust sooner than later. Something just had to be done.

I've ordered the V&H power duals, monster rounds and going to dyno tune.

 

Congrats on new ride. I did the same as you. Traded my Fat Bob for the RK as wife was wanting to ride more. I love the ride of the RK, but do miss that Fat Bob for that quikc rip around the block type of thing. Wish I could have both. I agree with the exhaust. A couple rides was all it took for me to yank off the stock system. Went with a 2009 catless HD headpipe and Reinhart 4" mufflers and PowerCommander V. Sold the PC5 and did the FM stage 1 kit with air cleaner and PowerVision. Bike runs better with new setup. Looking to do cams, lifters this spring and then perhaps move to the 107 kit. I'm not a fairing/radio type of guy so for me, the RK was a perfect fit. Plenty of things you can do to make it yours. Enjoy the new ride and have fun!
