Default help!!! rinehart pipes

i recieved my replacement pipe for my 05 Rg.

the "saddle mount config. for RH TD kit part # KR5-1002
we have taken the old pipe (left side)off . I had a hell of a time taking the exhaust flange off of the old pipe. (we beat the chit out of it)the old exhaust flang does not fit.its too big for the new pipe.it slips right off.has anyone recieved this problem from BUB? what should i do

1.did they send me the wrong pipe?
2.did they forget to send a new exhaust flange that fits?
3. weld it on
4. I just dont know what the hell im doing.
5. sell my HD and go buy a Ducati 1098 my original plan
6.welcome to the world of H-D

as you can see im a little frustrated.

Did you remove the slipt ring from the old pipe before removing the flange? Shouldn't have been that hard. If you don't have a split ring on the new pipe, the flange will slide on and off no problem. You need a split ring on the end of the pipe.

I installed a set of True Duals last week and the directions say to reuse the split rings and the flanges, with a warning to be careful not to bend the split ring or it may not seat properly. If all else fails .... read the directions.
