Wrap around or chopped?

When I changed out mine to a chopped someone on here sent me a template. It's in PDF, so I can email it to you if you need it. Pm me your email address if you want it.

I just put a small glob of tooth paste on the end of each bolt on the backrest and then lined it up and placed it where it went.....gave it firm pressure and then pulled it off and there you go....nice lined up little round white spots to drill through. Oh and put blue masking tape down first....it helps with the plastic and paint splintering. I had one hole that wasn't perfectly lined up, so i had to oblong it but backrest covers it up so you can't see it anyways.

I was worried about having it too high or low for that rubber suspension to work right.

Well, normally the top of the backrest fits flush and lays over slightly on the lid of the tourpak, When that's the case it's pretty simple. If that's not the case you just need to "know" where you want it...
