After 40+ years of riding off and on, I have run into some serious health problems: back, kidney disease, stents and other things. So, I figured out today I just can't physically ride any more. I'll be going on dialysis shortly and hope to live another year or two at least. The time has come that I'm going to have to let my beautiful RK Classic go. I'll be contacting the local dealership later this week to see if they will sell it for me. I thank all of you on this forum for the advice and knowledge I have received. Not quite, but almost "so long" time.
Sucks getting old and sick! I have given up my dirt bikes, rock crawlers, ninjas, gym memberships, gone to an electric bicycle and don't know how much longer the Harley will stay... Stay positive and enjoy what ya got!!!
Best of luck and remember don't give up. Stay with us..You have a vast knowledge to pass on till your last breath. You sure do not need a Harley to be on line. I am sure I am not far behind you but when the day comes, going to drain the oil and gas out of the old girl, spit shine it for the first time ever and get the son to drag it in the den. If RIP does not like it, she knows it's too late to leave. Remember, we want to see that post count at 40K
