As was stated, pricing is going to be all over the place. Prices probably don't vary much in Houston where the riding season is longer than say in Kansas. So unless you are willing to travel a few hundred miles I would say the pricing in Houston is going to be pretty close. However, they are probably cheaper in say Buffalo NY right now. Riding season for most of the country is almost here, they aren't going to get any cheaper.

$21k plus tax out the door should be close for a 2015 RGS with color option. Local dealer had those with the color option marked at $20,100 before destination and prep. Black was less. That's Atlanta, though, where there's multiple dealers and competitive prices.

I was in a Midwest city last week where the next closest dealer is 100 miles away, and they weren't moving from MSRP. Avoiding naming names and dealer bashing.

You can figure out how much you'll be contributing to your salesman's new pool this summer.
Right, because Harley sales people make sh1tloads of money.

Clue anyone?

In reality they make about $40K.

So this is what you were thinking, right?

Actually, it doesnt. I believe they'd rather sell you a loan.

This.

I sold cars for a while and the dealer would much rather do a loan than cash.

Yep. I'm sure its an expensive hassle to deal with a personal check. Most dont allow you to pay by credit card because the transaction cost is pretty hefty.

And they get a nut for selling a loan.
