Great! Good to know. I'm going to get that put in before spring and be done with it! Thanks!

That's cool... Not here in the great northeast! Nothing is free! Most tolls charge the same for a bike as a car. And it seems the tolls just keep going up and up! I try to stay off the toll roads, ride the back roads... But sometimes it's just not possible.

I don't know about Maryland, but here I can just run to Acme (grocery store) and pick up another transponder at the customer service counter.

i got mine at the deleware memorial bridge passing through one time. guess it works anywhere along the east coast and doesn't really matter where you got it as long as the web account is paid up. sometimes i forget and go to the maryland site and can't figure out why i can't log in. the only perk for motorcycles i've seen was that they could ride the HOV lanes around here.....but they weren't on the toll roads. we have to pay like the 4 x wheelers too. should get some type of discount.

I had my EZ-Pass transponder mounted under the fairing and found that it did not always register. Actually quite frustrating since a number of the toll roads I travel have gates that will fail to open if the tag signal is not picked up. Than you need to wait for someone to come out to the lane, and they'll ask you for the tag or the tag number.
Since I do not have a windshield bag on my bike, I removed the tag from under the fairing and installed a RAM mount that attaches to the clutch base, and placed the tag in a KuryAkyn large (4124) accessory pouch attached to the ram mount. Never had a problem using this system with the tag not being read. I do not leave the pouch attached to the RAM mount and only attach it when I know I'll be traveling toll roads. I can also use the ram mount for other accessories, camera mount, drink cup, etc.

Under the fairing, directly on top of the amp with no problems ever.

Up here in MA, I live on the NH border so I got my EZ Passes from NH where I do most of my riding. My toll costs are discounted 30% for all of my EZ Pass vehicles going thru NH tolls. I pay the going rate in all of the other EZ Pass states on the EZ Pass corridor.

Yeah, the wife and I drive from PA to Maine frequently... We get a few breaks here and there for the EZ pass... But nothing for the bike...

And Decency, I agree with soos! Great avatar... We're displaced Pats fans living in Eagle country...

Lqqk out, I wonder if it was just a weak or old transponder... I can't see any other reason why it wouldn't register through the fairing...
