Default 50 Amp main fuse

I have never read on here that some one was stranded on road with a blown 50 amp fuse. Is there a spare on the bike? Does anyone carry extra 50 amps just in case? Without it you done and hard to find on the road? Is there a spare fuse kit available with a 50 amp included?
Thanks in advance
Hap

There is no spare installed. As you say, if blown your stuck. But if something went bad enough to blow a 50 amp fuse, I don't believe putting a new one is going to fix the problem. I don't plan to carry one.

They're like 2 bucks at the auto parts store.

I carry a couple, because I was stranded without one once....

Left the wife with my bike and took hers to go buy one. Found a wire that r7bbed, and used the electrical tape t hat I also carry to insulate the wire andmake it the 150 miles home.

I do carry a spare. Available at any auto parts store. Not a HD specific part.
As someone who has been in the electrical business for over 30 years I can assure you if it is a mechanical part it can go bad for no apparent reason.Something as simple as the positive battery cable rubbing on a metal part can open the fuse. And in today's world of lesser quality things just break for no reason.

What hot wire directly after the 50 Amp fuse can short out and blow the main fuse without first blowing multiple fuses in the fuse box?

There can be like only one... Starter maybe?

Isn't the main a breaker and not a fuse?
