Nope it's a Fuse. Amperage depends on Bike model. My Roadking was a 40A & my Streetglide is a 50A. Check your owners manual for the correct size.

Yes indeed. I carry an extra 50 amp fuse. I've never needed it though, but, I still wouldn't travel without one.

I carry fuses and lightbulbs.
and other stuff.

some want to rely on a phone a credit card.

I'd rather figure it out myself and get going- I have alot of old cars and bikes- I consider these things a challenge and opportunity to learn

In the newer bikes it’s a 50A Maxi Blade type fuse - Bussman makes them, about $4.50 on Amazon. I always carry a spare fuse box in the trike along with spare relays (have fun finding a spare relay for those little miniature ones on the newer bikes - took me forevever - Harley doesn’t stock or sell them, the parts guys got crossed eyes when I asked). But if you get a starter relay or signal/light relay go out you’ll wish you had one.
