Im in the same boat just got mine. It has 55 miles onit and after 30 miles on it today i was very uncomfortable. I look at Mustangs and talked to them and they told me that it would raise me an inch but with my short inseam that's a problem. i'm leaning twords a C&C custom seat.

I've got the mustang, like it a lot, but I'm going to have it trimmed down a bit, there is so much padding it stacks me up a little higher than I'd like to be.

I have the Sundowner seat from HD. I love it! I have no experience w/ Mustangs, Corbins, etc so I can't compare. My Sundowner is the last seat I will buy for my RK Custom.

Thanks for the replay's guys. I appreciate it alot. I think I'm going to get the sundowner and try that first. I don't have to wait for my seat to get redone and the sundowner is only $325 with my %10 discount it should run that OTD. Hopefully it will be as good as HD says it is and it seemed the few guys that bought that seat are very happy with it. So I'll take the chance with that first and see what happens. Once again thank you for all the advise. Happy riding[sm=smiley20.gif]

P.S. Jraz or HDchloe do you have any pic's of your RK with the sundowner seat so I can see what it looks like? Thanks

I have a Corbin Hollywood solo for the Road King custom - used twice in mint condition for sale.

Much more comfortable than stock and suits the lines of the bike much better than all the other seats out there!!

I sold my custom so happy to sell it for a decent price!!

PM me if you're interested.

Cheers

I think you will also enjoy the Sundowner, as I put one on my 04 custom. Tried Corbin's seats and didnt care for the hardness.

Adjust your air shocks properly before you toss that OEM seat.
