Just put the Avon air cushion super sports on mine. They went on fairly easily, the clutch side was a little temperamental, but that was a switch housing issue. No glue needed, a lifetime warranty, made in the USA, and $45 on Amazon makes them a winner in my book. They are also about half the price of most of Harley's and they are not chromed plastic.

You don't need glue for the clutch side??? I thought I read somewhere that you did with the Avons. Good to know.

Nope, once you open up the clutch side switch housing the grip seats right inside of it. It doesn't budge. Now if the weather would only get better, I could actually get some miles on them...

So it locks in like HD grips. Cool. I know PM and RSD grips require glue for the clutch side.

no glue needed on Avon's - good thing too! I installed them a few years ago and I removed them and reinstalled them last month to put the Polly Heaters in.

Just installed my Avons. I will say that installing grips on the Rushmore RG is much more of a PITA than previous models. Housings don't separate the same way. Takes more finagling for sure.
