Mine hits me in the eyes, sometimes I rubber band it but most of the time I let it go and yea it does tickle my nose. I have had people passing me slow down and take pictures.

I don't worry about it while riding. I keep a comb in my pocket and fix it when I get off the bike. But then again some of you guys would say I have a training beard at only 4" or so

on my Road King, I have a MS Batwing and adding the fangs took care of it. On my Fatboy, with a detachable windshield, the fangs didn't help much.

THe real funky part is when you arrive at your destination and your beard is still at 90 degrees to your face!

My goatee used to be pretty long. Around 5" or so. Used to rubber band it to keep it under control. But on my RG it didn't blow upwards much. Kinda inwards towards my neck. I trimmed it back to match my now growing beard. By the spring I may have to band it again.

I sometimes wear a half helmet with face shield...

My eyebrows blow down, forcing me look through hair. My beard blows up, under the face shield, so that doubles the hair 'mat' that I have to look through, while tickling everything on my face.

Solution I came up with is to place the helmet strap over my beard, and wear shades/glasses under face shield. It keeps the hair prob to a minimum, even if people think it looks silly to wear face shield AND glasses. Not totally into the new 'wave' it gave my beard, guess I'll have to get used to it...

And yeah, I usually have to pull my beard down at all stops, when not wearing helmet!

That's some funny $hit. You know you can trim those eyebrows, right?
