Price for upgrade on exhaust

RE: Price for upgrade on exhaust
Well, there are a number of options and pricepoints. If you're considering just changing the mufflers (usually called "slip-ons"), then a pair will run you something like $400. Take a look at Vance & Hines, Rhinehart, and even the Screamin' Eagles from HD. A complete exhaust system (headers and mufflers) will run $800 or so from the same manufacturers. Spend some time surfing the forum and you will learn a lot about what is available out there.

RE: Price for upgrade on exhaust
Take a look at the parts for sale part of this forum. Ive bought a set of Vance and Hines Ovals and V&H true duals for $450 total. Unless you in a big hurry. Ive been collecting all my goodies, and now Im ready to install them. Ive been traveling on business up untill now. The local dealership, that is going to dino my bike was backed up with the last minute riders, that let their bike set all winter, then at the first pretty day, they bring it in for their oil change and tire inflations. So the timing is right for this to happen . Just my way of doing things.LOL

RE: Price for upgrade on exhaust
Got my slip ons for $150... LOUD LOUD LOUD. probally not want you want. no way you could hear a radio. My pipes are sampson drag fishtails. A lot of decel popping...And I love it. But that is just me. Probally the only one here that likes it. Always read where guys are complaining about it or asking others if their new pipes have the decel pop. I will be adding the full sac at some point, money permitting. I am probally not the best guy to answer this for you. But I love my pipes, and want everyone to know it. BTW, in my opion, Sampson does a nice job, as far as quality, on their pipes. And like I said...$150.
