I put the low ones on my road king and ended up setting them on zero. They are beginning to loosen up and I may go to one complete turn. I could taste underwear when I hit a pot hole the other day.
I cant believe how these things keep the rear wheel connected to the ground...I dont skate when braking hard at stop signs anymore.
I weigh about 220 and ride 2 up most of the time. I figured out when the shocks are new they are definitely stiffer and the setting was very low. Give them about 750 to 1000 miles to break in and I think you'll increase the settings until you find your sweet spot!
225lbs I ran on 3 till I had about 1500mi now on 7. Two up I believe I'm on 10,fully loaded,400lbs. By the way I have passenger backrest and my shocks are both on right side up.
