the filter that comes with the bs is not a k&n. it is like a k&n, the k&n recharge kit will work fine with it, but the filter is actually made by airraid (sp?)

there is a k&n filter that will fit, but if you are going to replace the filter why not go all the way and get the screamin eagle kit? you can get the individual parts very cheaply and then add the hd 0800 filter and have the 'old' screamin eagle kit for a fraction of the cost. there are several other posts on this, but if you cant find them, give me a yell and i can get you the part numbers.

I looked up the Big Sucker in J&P and was under the impression that it was for a carbed motor. Is it also compatable with EFI? Are there two different set-ups?

Defintely NEVER TRY TO BLOW OUT THE DIRT OR DRY WITH AN AIR HOSE. It messes up the mesh in the element.

Drag Specialties part number for the big sucker replacement K&N is 2110-9494. $46.00. It is a direct replacement for the SE model. Bolts right in place and is serviceable with the K&N recharge kit.

Rob there's two part nos. in the J&P, one for carb and one for EFI. The filters should be the same just the backing plate I'm guessing is different.
