On the installation of my 12' PY monkey bars, I used Viton Heats shrink over the entire stock bundle to make it easier to pull through. I also used heat shrink on the TBW connector to make sure it couldn't pull apart.
I used the namz kit, and all my connections were @ 3"-4" outside the bars, I also used heat shrink over each pin and sock connections to make sure they wouldn't come apart.
The best part was I didn't cut any wires, and all my connections are outside the bars for troubleshooting. The stock wires were long enough to make this happen on the 12" bars.
Heat shrank is cleaner than tape, for me at least.

I used heat shrink the first time I pulled wires on MMBs with TBW. Unfortunately the green plug broke apart. I soldered the wires on that on. Now I just use the SE TBW. I don't remember it being $100. I ordered it from Jon at Horny Toad HD and picked it up. 99% of the time when someone has a TBW issue when installing bars it is due to that plug.

Thats why i cut that little MF out, throwed it down in the woods. I couldnt get mine thru the bars and it keep coming undone too. SOLDER and HEAT SHRINK. Save the $100 for other dodads.
