Is the check engine light on? Codes? No throttle is usually caused by the TGS wiring not being hooked up correctly. The other possibility is the TPS on the FI throttle body - that connector/wiring can cause the same problem. The codes will tell you which.

Are you using the SE TGS? Did you put the pins in the right holes in the connector? Are they seated correctly? Just going thru this step by step - it's frustrating but not many causes. Joe

edit - I see you have a 2014, CAN BUSS troubleshooting will be different than the older TBW bikes...

Red face

We have a steady trickle of threads like this after installing extended handlebar wiring. If it is any consolation most seem to sort it out eventually! However if your bike worked fine before you started then it can and will work again. Perseverance pays.........

SBates takes the cake, hits the ball out of the park and dances on my hopes. You were right man. As much as I hated tearing it all back down again that was it. I've learned when someone says it's obvious I go for that solution immediately. Thanks brother.

Your more than welcome. You have 2 options, cut it out and solder and heat shrink joints or replace with the SE version. Personally I cut and solder. The SE version is $100 and IMO unnecessary.

Well at least tape the **** out of it. If you can't tell, I don't trust them once they've been disturbed.

Definitely at the minimum tape it up, did my buddies Road Glide this time last year. He bought pre wired bars from Avalanche Harley in Denver. Installed the bars and no throttle. Green connector had come apart when they fished the wires through. I ended up cutting and soldering/ heat shrinking and cussing for several hours rewiring the bars. Ended up putting his black controls on and removing the chrome ones it came with anyways so he wasted his money and my time buying prewired bars in my opinion anyways.
