Default Kury Mid Frame Covers FLHX

Is there a trick to getting these on? I removed the seat, removed the tank bolt, propped the tanketc according to the directions. There are two big plastic shrouds that run down the frame where it supposed to attach underneath them.

Whats the trick to moving these? They dont want to budge and I need access to that lilhole for the screw.

Thanks.

When I installed mine I little creative force and some sliding should do the trick. If that doesnt work just trim a little bit of the plastic away. I didnt have to trim but it is an option. Hope this helps.

Those contain wiring and I think they pop off but with the wiring all conected they wont be able to be removed or even moved around much.

Can any of you chime in and let me in on the secret, please.

Ok. when I put mine on I remember those same things. They are a pain in the rear. Try to pry the wiring holder thingy up enough to get your screwdriver in there. I couldnt get mine off all the way but by prying them up from the bottom you can get it good enough. Once that is up enough you will actually find another hole to use for the frame covers. Just man handle the darn thing and you will get it. I love the way mine look. but Ilike the chrome.

I know DI75 has them. Maybe he can help you. I have been thinking about getting them also and will be interested in the replies.
