I have black denim and had mine painted it was beat down by the sun pretty good. looks alot better now.

I sneeze when I get into bright light, so if the glare was going to bother anybody out would be me. And it doesn't.

One of my favorite mods. The black looks really out of place and unfinished after you get used to the matching inner fairing.

Painted Harley Fairings did this one for me about a month ago. Oh yeah I love it. With so many of these on the road already, I'm glad I've made it mine

Paul at Painted Harley Fairings is doing some stuff for me including an inner fairing

 

No issues no regrets or glare, seems the only ones complaining about glare are the ones that don't have it done on there bike. Painted inner fairing and changing out the plane front forks to either chrome or power coated black are two mods I would do to any touring bike to make it look finished. Besides the angle of the inner fairing is tapered down, you would have to be pretty short to get the sun to reflect off it I would think?

 

...the glare just tells you it's working!
