speed, terrain, throttle wiggling, % of ethanol in your pump gas come into play

lower than specified octane fuel will give less mpg, as the ECM cannot fully adavnce ignition timing

gear selection also plays into this- going into 6th gear at 55 MPH may result in lower revs, but it may be that the motor is more efficient at higher rpm range.

My 09 96" with stage 1 is dead on 43 mpg- cruising between 70 and 75 mph
stock it was 44 mpg
our fuel here is typically 10% iowa farmer subsidy

MPG will also increase at the motor wears in, less internal friction. as you get up past 5K you may see quite a rise.

The mileage from my Road King increased from 38-39 to 43-44 when I added exhaust, intake and PC. So depending on where you live and how you ride the heavier bike should get a little worse mileage stock.

I only got 600 miles on my '15 Ultra Classic before I had to put it away for winter but I checked mpg on every tank (ok that's only 3 tanks) but mine was dead nuts on 40mpg and I broke the bike in hard.

My dyno run put 46 miles on the bike and it took exactly one gallon to fill.

40-42 MPG on my '13 RGU. I'm a happy camper.

[QUOTE=usraptor;13680093]40-42 MPG on my '13 RGU, stock. However, I just installed pipes, AC and V&H FP and haven't had a chance to ride yet to determine how that will effect the MPG.
