Default Progressive monotubes suspension

I'm thinking of having the Progressive monotube installed on my 2013 Road Glide Ultra. I am looking at durability, how many miles before problems arise. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I had them put in a 2008 Ultra Classic at 50,127 miles and no problems when I traded the bike off having 65,789. The number one best upgrade I ever did to that bike.

I have well over 50k on mine. No issues at all.

It is a good upgrade, but if I did it again, I would have just done Progressive springs instead.

Monotubes definitely let you feel the road better. Sometimes a bit softer would be better.

Had them on my 11 SG. No issues...bike felt firmly planted to the road. I don't think you will regret the choice. Went with the HD premium ride monotube on my 15 RGS, since Progressive has yet to come out with a set up for the Rushmore bikes, although they told me they have one in development. Not sure when it will be out, and didn't want to wait until riding season.

I've put about 5K on my monotubes and I haven't regretted it...yet. It's definitely a stiffer feel, but worth the money.

You can get them either way, 1" lower or standard. Mine are standard and my son has the 1" lower version. Both have about 25k on them and no problems. I will say that if I ever take my front apart I will remove 1 clip though.

Do you have two clips in now? From what I've read most are pleased with one clip in.

I have 15,000 miles on mine set at -1". Still happy with them.

I thought there was only one type and then you set the clips for, normal, -1" and -2".
