I've had em in the foreward position for a few years now. i do scrape a little sometimes. I tend to ride with my right heel up towards the front and turned out and on tight right turns I'll lift my toe up automatically, Never touched with my toe but it gets close. Left toe stays under shifter peg out of habit,Removed heel shifter.

Have had the Kury extender mounts on two bikes so far, will be a essential component to any ride I have. VERY satisfied as to how the reposition and how they allow the boards to fold if they do make contact.

Should be known, the extensions I had to remove WERE NOT the Kurys. Mine did not move the boards forward simply out 1" + that is FLAT DANGEROUS! In tight turns, instead of the hinged board scraping pavement, the rigid mount hits and up on the steel yah go. Complete lack of engineering in those, glad to see Kury has addressed the situation.

After hearing nothing but great things about extenders if got a set for my EG. Took them off soon after! They hit sooner plus really looked goofy with lowers. Not really any more comfortable to me either.

How did they look goofy with lowers? You can't even see them.

I've had our sponsor's 1" extensions since 2007 on 4 different bikes.

Never had on issue, and I've scraped the boards from time to time.

This is a "New frame" issue only. 09-15 bikes apparently. Ive owned several of the old frame bikes with the basic extensions on all of them and the board drags WAY before the mounting bracket does. Just a little fyi for ya...

Pushes the board out past the lowers. Like them trucks with little tires outside the fenders...
