I ran the Daymaker headlights, it was a big difference. Worth the $$ imo. There are cheaper options out there.

I had hid in my 11 EGC with the stock headlight. It was extremely bright. Had a decent cutoff, when I used an optional shroud that came with the hid kit. High beam was crazy bright. The drawback was, low beam is the same intensity as high beam. The bulb moves to change the way it reflects. I was constantly getting high beamed from oncoming traffic. The HID created a very sporadic pattern. It was blinding. I went back to a halogen. Two of my friends have Harley Daymakers. I've helped them with adjusting them. They both complain that in turns the cutoff is to low. Even on high beam. They have both talked about getting caliper lights or passing lamps to help in the bends.

I have a HID in my Streetglide, DEFINATLY a lot brighter than stock, I went with 6K. (Bright White). I just purchased a TL7 LED and going to see if that is any different, but I'm also going to be running C.D LED's in my front & rear running and turn signals. Won't be till spring though 😢 (stupid Michigan weather)

I've been running them on my RG since 2010. I put them on my trucks too. Will never go back to Halogen.

I have HID's in my Road Glide and I love 'em. $75 for the pair. I think they give the DM's a run for their money. You should be able to get a single H4 replacement for about $35. You do need to research the type of bulb you get or you won't be happy. Look for the bulb that is shielded with the moving bulb. Like these.

I have been running hid's in everything i own for the last 8 yrs or so, bikes and trucks. I love them and will never go back to halogen. I have not changed my light in my new rg yet. Thinking of trying led this time around but not sure. I usually run ddm tuning kits

here are few pix of some of the ones i've ran
