Sweet. Like the colors a lot.

 

Looks great. Since I have a Vivid Black, I'd be happy to have only half of that project, but with a teenager going to college in the fall, that's not going to happen for the next four, five, six years... nice work.

 

I appreciate the heads up, and of course we will inspect the final product.

I met with 4 painters, and reviewed previous work before deciding to go with Mark. I have met him in the past at Chicago area shows. He is a top notch business man, and artist in my book. Down to earth guy as well.

This bike gets ridden, and is not, nor will it be a show queen. I've spent 3 years building this bike, and I am confident the final product will be exactly what I want and of excellent quality.

 

Sanded and recleared today. Buffing, polishing and reassembly starts Monday.

 

Not often 4k is referenced as low or not enough, but I guess if you compare to nationally known custom painters I follow.

I met with 4 painters, and presented about a hundred pics and colors to each. 3 estimates were very close, two of them were the same, and one was much higher.

I am confident I chose the right artist, and the experience with Mark & Derek has been great.

 

Final inspection was today, and she comes home Sunday. Turned out amazing. I will post more finished pics when the weather permits, and ole mr. sunshine shows his happy face!
