Stock Harley lasted 6 yrs, replace it before you have to on the road.I didnt give it a thought and sure as heck it failed. 177$ delivered to an out of the way gas stop 30 miles from anywhere and only one available for another 80 miles.O'Reilly brand works fine but for that money they should have put it in and might have but I was to mad (at myself) to ask.

I have an 09 Ultra and October it started getting a little sluggish. So I got about 5 years out of this one, it was the original battery. I ordered one on eBay, tried a $70 battery and won't do that again. I always keep a BikeMaster Tender on my bike when I'm not riding it. I'm going to try the Big Crank this time.

I am using a shorai battery on my Pro street bike. When my 14 SGS needs a battery I will get one for that also. Good light weight battery so far. Plenty of cranking power for my 103 CI stroker. A little pricey.

Both my first two from the Mother Ship lasted 5+ years. On my third on my 04. Got an AGM glass mat cell clone from Wally World. Be interesting to see how long it last. At 1/3 the cost, just had to try it. And Wally Worlds are sure a lot easier to find. Heat kill batteries. Cold drains them.

got 7 years out of a regular Harley battery in a 2000 EG. Currently it has a battery from Drag Specialties which a local Indy had in just over a year on it.

Got over seven years and 45000 miles from the original battery on my 07 Ultra and only changed it before a long trip. Went with another original one figuring I'll get another seven years. Keep it on the tender all winter.

6 yrs. stock HD battery with no problems but figured that was long enough. 6 yrs. on an Interstate battery with no problems and will change out again this summer. Both wired to a Battery Tender 4 months over the winter.
