Call Biketronics, they will hook you up. They deal with sonys all plug and play harness you still have controls on bars. They sell the best amps and speakers, all lifetime warranty. If you blow something just send it back and they replace it no questions asked.
If you have an unlimited budget, Biketronics is the way to go!!!! I'm running their 7.1 speakers and you can't beat the lifetime warranty. If you have a budget in mind, there's still a way to have a kick a$$ stereo. The audio section has lots of gurus who know the ins and outs of motorcycle audio...
If you're only looking to replace the stereo, that Headunit is excellent. I have the similr model. But, in order to use your existing hand control unit, you'll need a radio retro kit, like the one sold by biketronics.
I have the Biketronics Titan 7.1's and a RF 300x2 powering just the fronts. Happy with the sound. Do not think that your bike will ever sound like your $$ car stereo. Zero acoustics out in the open air on a bike.
I am replacing my stock radio and would like some input please on a good stereo and amp. I was looking at the sony mex-m70bt,
I use that head unit and love it, what type bike are you riding? Could help in narrowing down your choices. Big fan of Biketronics myself, I have one of ther moderate setups
