Default Heat Deflectors

Got true dual on my RKC and legs are constantly on fire in the summer.
I like how heat deflectors look, but the question is, do they really work? Do you actually notice the difference??

I have true duals, but I dont really have a problem with my legs getting hot. My bike came with heat deflectors, but I removed them, I think they reflect heat back on the engine.

Yes they do work, I had them on my last bike and installed a set on my SGS. I can definitely tell the difference.

These work AND look great: http://www.rjsoriginals.com/ Been to his place a couple times, he makes them at home...

Personally, the plastic deflectors look like crap !

I've been sold on the Captain Itch Crotch Cooler from day 1!

We make a special pattern for true duals as well, and they are very easy to install.. Unlike the stock ones all you need to do is remove your seat to install. And we offer several way's to customize our Crotch Cooler to make your bike stand out from the crowd ..

To a certain extent the deflectors work.
I think you may be better off with the wards fans.
That is going to be my next move.

BTW; I have both of the heat deflectors mentioned.

That's what I went with, made by Vets in the good ole USA.
The Captain makes a great product, too. Both are forum sponsors, and great guys. Yeah, they help out, removing the cat made the biggest difference for me.

I have the HD version and I do notice a difference as far as the heat rising up and cooking me. I still feel some heat on the leg but you're not going to get rid of that unless you sit on a cold bike and never start it.

I read on here somewhere to remove one side so air can flow threw instead of fighting each other. Anyone try this?
