I also run ward cooling fans, it solved my heat problem.
Yes they work and they do help.

RJS Originals all the way for me, made by a vet from his house. To me they look the best because they flow with the lines of the bike. It's not a one size fits all, they are make and model specific. First thing I bought for my SG and they really work.

Here's a close up of my RJ's, He put the jeweled studs on mine to match the fizz in the Root Beer. And it does! I get compliments all the time, and they work, too.

I thought about getting some kind of deflector for my RK. Before my stage 1 and dyno tune, that sucker got HOT!! So hot I hated riding it, especially if the ambient temperature was anything above 70 degrees out.


But now, I can happily say it isn't needed. My bike just doesn't get that hot any more. It amazes me how much cooler these bikes run when tuned properly.

If you go capt itch, make sure u get a belt. I haven't worn any other belt but his for a little While.

The Captain for me too....pop it on for summer...off in spring and late fall. Plus I love the look of leather.
