Default thinking about a j&s lift

I know the "which lift is best" has been beaten to death, thinking about purchasing the j&s after some research. Plan on having the dealer do most of the service, don't have a problem changing oil and checking fasteners, but changing tranny/primary fluids I will leave to the dealer. Mainly want the lift just to have easier access to clean the bike, i'm a little ocd about keeping it clean. Would it be silly to purchase an expensive lift like j&s mainly for cleaning purposes? Just wish I could find a used one for cheaper

Its a great lift. I use mine every time I ride to turn the bike around in the garage. My GF has started using it on her Street Glide also. The Pitbull looks like a nice lift also.

Thought about pitbull, but think it is even more expensive and not as compact, love how u can push the bike around while up on the stand with the j&s

I understand your thoughts, how much will you use it, is it worth the money, but I paid 26K for my bike and 400 for the lift is cheap. The lift is great, using it to wash the bike is great, clean the wheels, etc.But using it to change fluids or just moving it around in the garage is well worth the money, spend the extra money and get the oil pan adapter.

A quality tool. Use mine all the time after every ride for cleaning and to turn the bike around in the garage. It's expensive, but I don't think you'd regret the purchase.

You've given yourself good reasons to buy J&S. And it's on sale now to boot.

Don't think just get it. I have a pitbull and a buddy has the J&S. Both good lifts. J&S has a smaller footprint with 19" of lift. The pitbull is a substantialy larger footprint but has a 25" lift. I wanted the higher lift for cleaning the rear wheel on a bagger. I am able to sit on a rolling stool and clean the wheels.
