Just tried to wedge a couple of 880st sylvania bulbs into my driving lights.Stock bulb has a right angle base.These are straight base.You can fit em in but the wires jammed tight against the back of the housing.Not a good situation.Does anybody with an 07 run these without issues?

 

I installed 2 Silverstars in my passing lamps a few months ago, they were #893.
They have a straight connector rather than the stock 90 degree one, but there was plenty of room in the back of the housing for me.

 

I started that thread on the 880ST's and CLEARLY said my experience was on an '05 Ultra SPECIFICALLY.

Of course the straight plug is not going to be like the right angled one [8D]

I too had to "stuff it" in there - used electrical tape for insurance - no problems yet.

It is a tight fit on the '05's but it can be done.

I stand corrected.They will fit.I just notched the connector so the wires could be bent 90 degrees without rubbing the back of the housing.Its just plastic,5 minute job.The stock bulbs looked pretty lame next to the silverstar headlight.
