3.5mm Bluetooth Receiver
Does anybody out there have any experience using one of these Bluetooth receivers to connect a music source to your HK stereo?

I'm not selling them, I'm just curious to see if they work well.
Thanks for your input.

I use an Aluratek Bluetooth Receiver from Best Buy. It's small enough that I can Velcro it to my dash and the wire to the aux. port. Before that I used a Nano, which in my opinion produced better sound. Downfall was I can't put as much songs on the Nano as I can my iPhone. I'm not completely sold on these Bluetooth portable receivers. May just get a bigger Nano which is the same size as the Aluratek. Plus it seems like it takes longer for the connection from Smart phone to BT.

After hours of research I decided to go with the Kinivo BTC450 Bluetooth receiver. It works flawlessly and auto connects with my Phone every time I turn on the bike. It's one of the few that auto connect, the others needed to be paired every time. It also has a usb for charging the phone while I ride.

I have the Aukery unit from Amazon, $15.99 shipped. It is a 4.0 version which is a better sound quality then the 3.0. It works with 99% of smartphones incl the iPhone. Rechargeable battery lasts 10 hrs and pairs up in seconds. I use it with my iPod and iPhone on my bike and my Jeep. Perfect sound quality. It has 2 small buttons to control volume and next/prev track. These can also be mounted on a helmet and 3.5 cable to neckband headphones or helmet speakers and can allow wireless communication from player to helmet. Bluetooth range about 30 ft. It shuts off once player device is disconnect or out of range for battery save. Slick little device.

I had a battery operated one that really did not work well at all, so I tried out another one that works GREAT - HomeSpot NFC-enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver - bought it on amazon -
I haven't hooked it up to my SG yet, I used to keep it in the bag on my last bike. Working on a sleek way to get power and the audio connection to it. But it does work really well.
