Comparing apples to apples, the Corbin vs the c&c, the Corbin comes in about 2 bills higher. I'd pay 2 bills to be sure the seat fits me right, but in this case, I don't think those 2 bills will do that. $600 is a premium price for a seat, but $800 is on the verge of insanity. But again, if it works, it's worth it.

FYI!

Anyone looking for C&C Solo w/backrest and BSR pad, Mercedes Vinyl.

There is one right now for sale in the Touring for sale section for only $475!!!

You can have the best of both worlds. Solo w/ backrest. And when you BSR wants to ride. Just attach, Easy Pizzy!

I'm really on the fence here guys. I spoke with the man at C&C yesterday, and he seems to be a very friendly straight up kinda guy. Someone mentioned calling the Florida office of Corbin, that they are alot more helpful. Corbin has a reputation, I'll give them that. I think I will give them one more opportunity to impress me, and if they can't, I'm going C&C....

I spoke to Chuck @ C&C yesterday about there wide solo. He took all the time with me that I needed & sent me additional info in email. Got a good feeling about doing business with him. Corbin just lost a sale.

Chuck said the wide solo is a fairly new seat for them. He said it has only been out about a yr. He said it measured 15" wide. There is pictures on the web site of it.
