I know C&C California custom seats on the west coast will design & custom stitch a seat, backrest & so forth, (pretty hefty cost too),but I was wondering if you guys know of any east coast shop that specializes in this work? Maybe even send my own seat out to get the work done? Harley's web site has a few designs but they don't include the entire seat for a 2 up seat for my 15 Street Glide Special. They want $479 to do a portion on the front half of the seat. I was interested in getting a flame design over the entire length of my seat. Basically, an Orange flame pattern to match the Amber Whiskey paint. Any assistance would be appreciated.

 

I spoke to the good folks at Mustang Seats the other day. They are doing custom embroidery on there seats now. I dont know if they would do it to a Harley seat or not. May be worth asking. There is a place in New Mexico called Auto Original that will do it for sure. They come highly recommended for all types of custom seats and seat modifications.

 

Just checked out both sites. Mustang doesn't do the flame designs. They use one style. Auto original shows custom stitching, but nothing with color or design. The seats look like they would be done for the earlier year Harley's. Thanks for the info though.

 

Check out Mean City Cycles. They do seat modifications and custom covers. Great reputation too!

 

$479 for stitching on just the front half? For that much money your better off getting a whole new seat with custom embroidery. Mean City Cycles does great work, very efficient and professional.

 

Check with Rommel Harley in Seaford De .They have a guy who does embroidery work for them.
